Description
The Malt Shovel Inn Public House is a late 18th century or early 19th century building, with its core likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. The front features three sash windows, with the outer ones being tripartite. The entrance has a simple doorway topped with a cornice hood supported by brackets, and a ledged door, with stone steps leading up to it. There is an attached outbuilding wing on the left-hand side that projects towards the road, featuring modillion eaves and old tiles.
