Description
West Lodge at Locko Park is a lodge built around 1860, likely designed by Henry Stevens, in the Italianate style. It is constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof and features an ashlar ridge stack. The east elevation has a pediment and a recessed central bay, which includes two steps leading up to a doorway with a moulded surround and a panelled door. The flanking bays are adorned with two Tuscan Doric pilasters on each side, and there is an entablature above. In the pediment, there is a small window with a basket arch, key, and impost blocks. The south elevation has two single bar sash windows set in moulded architraves, while the north side features one similar window and a lean-to extension that is not of special interest.
