Description
Newhall Lodge is a lodge built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a stone slate roof and is a single-storey building featuring a symmetrical facade with three bays. The lodge has a plinth and a pedimented doorcase supported by Tuscan pilasters, which frames an eight-panel door with an apron above that reaches the eaves. The windows on either side of the door have projecting sills and retain their original 16-pane sash windows. The roof is hipped with oversailing eaves and has a central ridge stack. There is a slightly later addition at the rear, which has a parallel roof of similar size, part blue-slate roofing, and a brick ridge stack. The left and right-hand returns of the building also feature windows similar to those at the front.
