Stables or coach-house, now house (derelict at time of survey; l986). C18, altered in C19. Sandstone ashlar, stone slate roof. Rectangular plan. Two storeys and 7 bays, symmetrical, in classical style, with pedimented 3-bay centre breaking forwards slightly; ground floor, formerly a continuous arcade of round-headed arches with imposts, stepped voussoirs and raised keystones, all either covered by added canted bays (bay 1, and bays 4 and 5) or altered as door (bay 2) or windows (bays 3, 6 and 7); at 1st floor, rectangular windows with raised surrounds. (Most windows damaged, and all glazing missing. Circular raised medallion in pediment. Gab1e copings with kneelers, gable chimneys. Left return wall has added canted bay; right return wall has a blocked arch like those at front. Rear has vertical rectangular windows, some with raised surrounds. Interior: altered and damaged.
