Description
This is an early 19th century farmhouse situated on Goosehill Lane in Warmfield-cum-Heath. Constructed primarily of orange/red brick in an English garden wall bond, with coursed rubble to the rear, the roof is covered in stone slates. The house follows a central-entry plan with two main rooms and a later, single-story outshut to the rear. The facade features windows and a doorway with segmental arches. All windows are sash windows with 20 panes and projecting ashlar sills. Gable stacks are present. The rear elevation displays smaller windows serving the outshut. A window and doorway, matching those on the front, are visible on the left-hand return, also serving the outshut, with a window above. The interior was not inspected. The farmhouse was noted to be in a dilapidated and derelict condition at the time of the resurvey.
