Description

Stocks located adjacent to No. 4 Main Road in Sudbury, likely dating from the 18th century, are constructed from timber. They consist of two square end posts and two planks between them, featuring four circular holes for the legs of the person being punished. The stocks were damaged in 1938 and subsequently relocated to their current position. They are listed for their group value only.
