Description

Stocks located approximately half a metre south of Oak House are likely from the early 19th century and made of timber. The structure consists of two end posts and two horizontal boards, featuring four circular leg-holes. It is believed that these stocks were originally situated at the junction of All Saints Street and Church Vale, where they were removed when the police force was established in 1840. They were later relocated to Oak House, which became a museum in 1898.
