Description
Nos 315 and 317 on High Street are mid-19th century offices constructed of painted stucco or artificial stone, topped with a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays with rusticated quoins. On the ground floor, there are two windows on each side of a central doorway. Each opening has a segmental head with a keystone and moulded impost, separated by pilasters adorned with cast decoration and foliated capitals. These support an entablature with a dentilled cornice. The first floor has sash windows without glazing bars, each with architraves, individual balconies, and cornices on console brackets. The second floor windows are distinguished by a decorated sill band and lintels featuring decorative elements, including monograms, with console brackets that support the main cornice.
