Description

Nos 27 and 29 on Finkle Street are mid-19th century buildings constructed of stucco with a pitched slate roof. They rise three storeys and feature a wooden cornice with modillions at the eaves. The buildings have two bays; the second floor has sash windows, while the first floor includes canted oriel windows with moulded cornices and angle colonettes. No 27 has a modernised shop front, whereas No 29 has a contemporary shop front with panelled pilasters, moulded consoles supporting the fascia, a four-panelled passage entrance, and a door with a fanlight set at a diagonal.
