Description
Nos 49 and 51 on Market Place are mid-19th century buildings featuring a stucco exterior and a slate roof. They have a modillion eaves cornice and moulded sill courses. The buildings rise to four storeys and each has two windows with moulded architraves and cornices supported by console brackets on the first and second floors. The windows are sashes without glazing bars. A large modern shop occupies the ground floor, complete with a large fascia board. These buildings are included for their group value with other listed structures on the east side of Market Place.
