Description
No. 47 Market Place in Leicester is an early 19th-century building. It is finished in stucco and has a slate roof. The structure features a moulded eaves cornice, impost, and bands. It stands four storeys tall and has two windows in shallow recesses that extend through the building. The second and third floor windows are sashes without glazing bars, while the first floor has been replaced by casements with leaded panes. The ground floor has a modern shop front with a large fascia board. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the east side of Market Place.
