Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse located on Deep Lane, Hardstoft, in the parish of Ault Hucknall. The building is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings, and has a machine tile roof with ridge and gable stacks. The gables are stone coped with moulded kneelers. The principal (south) elevation has six bays. An off-centre doorway is framed by a moulded stone surround and has a four-panelled door. To the left of the doorway are two windows with two lights, featuring flush square section mullions. To the right are two similar windows, and a single window with three lights, also with flush square section mullions. Above the entrance doorway is a single light window, with two windows of two lights, and three windows of three lights, all featuring flush square section mullions.
