Description
High House Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed sandstone with sandstone dressings. It features a tile roof with stone coped gables and a brick gable end stack. The building is two storeys high and has an L-plan layout with a double pile design. The south elevation consists of five bays, adorned with a parapet and pilasters at the corners. There is a first-floor string band and a moulded cornice above the first-floor windows. The central doorway has a moulded stone surround and is fitted with a 20th-century panelled door that includes a glazed overlight. On either side of the doorway are two glazing bar sash windows, each set in moulded stone surrounds, with five similar windows located above on the first floor.
