Description
This is a 17th-century barn located west of Morton Road Farmhouse in Pilsley. It is constructed from rubble sandstone and features a slate roof. The barn has irregular window openings with timber surrounds. On the north side, there are three doorways with windows positioned between them. Inside, the barn consists of five bays, with the western half supported by two cruck trusses that include upper and lower collars, purlins, and wind braces on the east side. The timbers used in the construction are crudely cut.
