Description
The former Sunday School, built in 1858, is constructed of red brick and sandstone ashlar, topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring stone coped gables. The roof has two different heights, resembling the nave and chancel of a small chapel. A tall gabled bellcote is located on the north gable. The west elevation consists of three bays, highlighted by a steeply gabled porch that includes a four-centred arched doorway and a quatrefoil datestone inscribed with the year 1858. On either side of the porch, there are stone cross windows that are not symmetrically placed, with an additional cross window to the right. The south gable end features a 3-light stone mullioned and transomed window, along with a blind triangular headed window above it. The north gable has similar window designs.
