Description

A Wesleyan Sunday School dated 1850, built in a style similar to the adjacent chapel. The building is rendered and has a modern tile roof. The sides feature four tall, semi-circular headed windows with an impost band and a cill band to the upper level, with no windows on the lower level. The street-facing gable is treated as an open pediment, supported by angle pilasters capped with modillions. This elevation has three tall arched windows on the upper level. Below are outer arched doorways with keystones and impost blocks, leading to double wooden doors under arched fanlights, which are now painted over. The Sunday School is notable for its historical importance and its contribution to the group value of the setting.
