Description
This is a late 18th- and early 19th-century attached house on Two Mile Hill Road, in the St George district of Bristol. The house is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings, features gable stacks, and has a double-pile pantile roof. It was originally designed with a symmetrical facade, though the right side is now partially obscured by later shops. A raised surround frames the doorway, which has brackets supporting an open pediment. The doorway itself is semicircular-arched, with a teardrop fanlight above a six-panel door. The ground floor has stepped voussoirs, and the windows are 6/6-pane sashes. Inside, the hall is divided by a semicircular arch leading to a staircase with stick balusters and column newels, and there are six-panel doors throughout.
