Description
The Wesleyan Meeting Room is a mid-19th century building, designed in a style similar to the adjacent Chapel and School. It has a rendered exterior and a modern tiled roof. The sides feature three arched windows, while the end elevation is designed with an open pediment that has a modillioned cornice. There are two windows with arched and "shouldered" architraves, and a plain cill band supported by cut-stone brackets. Each side of the end elevation has a projecting gabled porch with arched doorways, decorative keys, impost blocks, and double wooden doors beneath an arched fanlight. The meeting room is recognized mainly for its historical significance and its contribution to the group value of the surrounding area.
