Description
The Arch, Kingswood Community Centre, is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of High Street in Kingswood. It features pebbledash walling, a hipped asbestos slate roof, and moulded coping along the parapet. The structure is two storeys high and has two chimneys, one of which is modern while the other retains its original moulded capping.
The façade includes three windows with glazing bar sashes set in reveals, each topped with flat heads and projecting stepped voussoirs. The central arched doorway is adorned with a bracketed open pediment, featuring a modern panelled door and a traceried fanlight above. To the left, there is a three-window wing in a similar style, although the centre window has been blocked, and the central door has been converted into a window. Inside, there is a wide hall that includes a central staircase.
