Description
The outbuilding located to the south of Windy Gap Farm is a former farm structure, now used as a store. It dates from the late 17th century and is constructed of coursed rubble coal measures sandstone, featuring quoins at the ends, plain gables, and a plain tiled roof. The elevation facing the street has a blocked doorway with a plain lintel at the center.
Inside, there are two cruck trusses that support a single purlin roof. The crucks have been altered, but the one at the south end of the building still retains its yoke and has bearers on the back of the cruck blades to support the purlins.
