Description

Zion Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on Manor Road in South Wingfield. It is constructed from coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings and render, featuring quoins, a single coped gable with a brick stack at the west end, and a Welsh slated roof. The cottage stands two storeys tall.

The north entrance front has two doors; one is modern and features a wooden gabled porch, while the other has a massive stone lintel. There is a single three-light flush mullioned window with plain stone surrounds and a single light window to the east. Above these, there is a two-light flush mullioned window with small 19th-century sashes and two single light windows, all with flush surrounds.
