Description
The walls and railings, along with the attached war memorial, are located to the west of St Paul's Church and were constructed around 1874 by Giles & Brookhouse. They are made of sandstone ashlar and feature low walls with chamfered and moulded copings, topped with iron railings. The structure is divided by eleven stone piers that have chamfered copings, while the end and gate piers are designed with gabled tops. The gate piers include an openwork iron archway. The war memorial takes the form of a Saxon Cross.
