Description

The remains of an old church, dating from the medieval period, are located on the east side of Church Road in the parish of Quarndon. The structure is a fragmentary ruin built from coursed squared sandstone. What remains includes part of the west wall and a small section of each of the return walls. The west wall features a shallow clasping buttress in the middle and part of a moulded stringcourse. To the south, there are remnants of a window jamb. The site is almost completely overgrown with ivy.
