Description

The remains of an old chapel, likely dating from the 13th century, are located on the west side of Melton Road in Thurmaston. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble and includes a fragment of the west wall. This wall features a single lancet window set in a projecting section. The window is splayed on its inner face and has a dressed raking ashlar sill course on the outside.
