Description
12 and 14 Lander Lane and 1 The Butts is an early 19th-century corner terraced block featuring stone dressings. The rear facades are also made of stone, and the building has moulded stone eaves and hipped slate roofs. It stands three storeys tall and has a total of six windows, which are mostly sashes with glazing bars. The first floor has stone labels supported by consoles, while the ground floor features dripstones.
On the north side of the facade, there is a segmental arched stone entrance with a rusticated treatment and a brick blocking course above the eaves. The corner has modern shop windows, and the building is angled at the corner. The two-storey side facade facing High Pavement has a stone plinth and quoins. It includes a round arched doorway with a rusticated stone surround and a fanlight, along with two additional windows.
