Description
21-23 Silver Street is a house and commercial premises dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, with quoins at the corners.
The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, framed by a plain stone surround. To the right, there is a late 19th-century shopfront that includes pilasters, consoles, a frieze, and a cornice. To the left, there is a four-pane sash window. On the first floor, there are four-pane sash windows, with the central window being blind. The second floor features six-pane sash windows. All windows are adorned with plain stone surrounds. The building also has shaped kneelers and stone coping, along with end stacks.
