Description
Silverdale is a house and commercial premises dating from the early 19th century. It is built of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and has a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a plinth and quoins.
Four stone steps with railings lead up to a central six-panel door that has an overlight and is framed by a chamfered stone architrave with a frieze and cornice. To the right, there is a late 19th-century shopfront that includes a frieze and cornice, while to the left is a 16-pane sash window. On the first floor, there are four-pane sashes, except for the 16-pane sash on the right. All the windows have lintels and sills. The roof is hipped with an end stack on the left side. The left return of the building features windows similar to those on the front.
