Description

This early to mid-19th century house is located on the west side of Silver Street, Masham. The building is constructed of ashlar stone with a graduated stone slate roof. It is three storeys high and has three bays. Chamfered quoins define the corners. A Doric porch with a frieze and pediment shelters a half-glazed door located on the right-hand side of the facade. All windows have plain stone surrounds and raised sills. To the left of the door are two casements. The first floor contains three unequally-hung eight-pane sashes, and the second floor has three casements. Shaped kneelers and ashlar coping adorn the roofline. An end stack is situated on the left-hand side.
