Description
No 2 Church Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, framed by a wooden surround with pilasters on plinths, a frieze with four consoles, and a cornice. The windows are in plain stone surrounds; the ground and first floors have four-pane sash windows, except for a 20th-century casement window to the right of the door and a blind opening above the door. The second floor features six-pane sash windows, with a central blind opening. There are two chimney stacks at each end of the building.
