Description
Y Belen Wlan is a dignified three-storey building featuring a two-window shopfront, constructed with squared, coursed masonry. It has a gently pitched quarry slate roof with close verges and deep boarded eaves, along with stone stacks and slate water tabling.
The second-floor windows have shallow upper sashes with 12 panes, positioned under the eaves. The first floor showcases 16-pane sash windows with deep, regular stone lintels. The ground floor boasts a good late 19th-century shopfront, which includes a blind box above a plain fascia, fluted fascia ends on sunk panelled pilasters, and a canted recessed doorway that is offset to the right with a glazed door. The shop window angles feature half round mullions, and there are plastered stallrisers, along with a modern canopy.
