Description
The Bakery is a two or more storey building featuring three windows, constructed of pebbledashed rubble masonry. It has a gently pitched quarry slate roof with plain eaves and close verges. The gable end of the adjoining building has stepped water tabling, and there are stone stacks with slate water tabling.
The second floor includes later gabled dormers, flush bargeboards, rendered cheeks, and Victorian sash windows. The first floor has small windows with six-pane, two-light casements. The ground floor mainly consists of a modern shopfront, which includes two blind boxes and rendered "architratives." The central doorway is canted and recessed, flanked by shop windows with brick stallrisers, while the house door is located to the extreme right.
