Description
Siop Esgidiau is a two or more storey building featuring a single window shopfront. It is constructed of rubble masonry and has a gently pitched roof made of quarry slate, with plain eaves and close verges. A broad gable has been added to the front, showcasing deep eaves, exposed purlins, and bargeboards. The building includes stone stacks and water tabling.
The gable features a modern window on the upper floor and a modern shopfront with a recessed central doorway. On the left end elevation, there is a tier of windows. The second floor has a six-pane sash window with a stone lintel, while the first floor has a similar twelve-pane sash window, and the ground floor features a modern window. The left corner of the building is canted back, but the eaves extend to the corner on lintels at the top.
