Description

1 New Road and 32 Main Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It features dressed stone with a watershot finish on the ground floor and is topped with a slate roof. The building has one string course and an eaves cornice. There are four sash windows on the New Road side, one on the Main Street side, all with marginal glazing on the first floor and casements on the second floor. The Main Street side has a shopfront with a plain surround, while the New Road side has a double shopfront with pilaster strips and a cornice. The glazing in both shopfronts is modern, and there is a modern door as well.
