Description

This former framework knitting workshop dates from the early 19th century. It is a low, single-storey building constructed of coursed rubble gritstone, featuring coped gables and a plain tiled roof. The workshop has a plain eaves band that forms the heads of the frameshop windows, and a similar band is located at the cill level. The openings are now blocked with brick. There is a doorway on the north gable, which has a chamfered quoined surround and a plain planked door.
