Description

Cliff Inn is a public house built around 1800. It is constructed of coursed rubble gritstone and features quoins, coped gables with plain kneelers, ashlar ridge stacks, and a Welsh slated roof. The building has an 'L' plan with a lower two-storey range at the rear. The main range on the southeast elevation consists of three bays and three storeys, with stacked glazing bar sashes that decrease in height from the ground floor, deep lintels, and projecting cills. The central door has a quoined surround, a shallow moulded bracketed hood, and a 20th-century glazed door. An attached single-storey range at the northeast end is not included in the listing.
