Description
The stables, located approximately 20 meters southeast of the Manor House, date from the mid-18th century and feature loose-boxes with a loft above. The structure is built from coursed limestone rubble with ironstone quoins and has a 20th-century tiled roof with coped gables. The side facing the road includes iron ties and two louvred windows. The yard side has two stable doors, one of which has a loft door above, with these openings framed by late 19th to 20th-century brick surrounds. There are also two small windows with slatted shutters. The south gable end features a loft window and an attached lower extension with a 20th-century pantile roof and three doors leading to the yard. This building is included for its group value with the Manor House.
