Description

No 3 is a house from the mid to late 17th century that has been altered over time. It is primarily constructed of coursed limestone rubble with limestone quoins, while the left gable has been rebuilt using coursed ironstone. The house features a slate roof with coped gables and a central chimney that has an ashlar base and a brick shaft. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The front has 2-light windows with ovolo-moulded limestone mullions and cyma recta cornices. At the rear, the original first-floor windows are preserved, also with 2 lights and chamfered stone mullions. There are two doors at the back; the left door has a cambered stone arch, while the right door is covered by a 20th-century lean-to brick porch.
