Description

This is a house, originally known as Rosebery Cottage, dated 1654, with a tablet in the left dormer. A second tablet in the right dormer notes refurbishment in 1984. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a 20th-century reconstituted stone slate roof with raised eaves, coped gables, and ashlar chimneys. The right chimney was rebuilt in the 20th century, while the left chimney has moulded cornices at both the base and the shaft. The house has one storey and an attic, with two bays.

On the ground floor, there are original three-light windows featuring ovolo-moulded stone mullions and casement cornices. The attic includes 20th-century gabled eaves-line dormers with paired wooden casements. The central entrance is a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel. The left gable has a semi-circular domed oven projection and a 20th-century casement in a blocked doorway with a wooden lintel. There is also a shallow 20th-century rear extension with a wide gable.
