Description
Pansy Cottage is a house that possibly dates back to the 18th century. It is built from slate stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick stack on the left and a stone rubble stack on the right, which has been raised above the roof line of the adjacent Rose Cottage.
The layout consists of two rooms with a central entrance, which was remodeled in the late 20th century. There is also a single-storey, one-room service outshot on the front right. The cottage has two storeys and an asymmetrical front with two windows. The ground floor has two replacement two-light casement windows with glazing bars, and there are two similar windows on the first floor. A four-panel part-glazed door is located near the centre. The single-storey service wing is on the front right and has a gable end. The rear elevation features a 20th-century flat-roof dormer.
The cottage is part of an unaltered group in the picturesque village of Trevalga.
