Description
Tudor House is a house built in the mid-18th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and features a modern plastic 'thatch' roof, with coped gables and flanking brick chimneys. The house has two storeys and originally consists of two bays, with a rear outshot. The windows are paired barred wooden casements set beneath deep flat arches. A central 20th-century half-glazed door is located in a gabled wooden porch. To the left, there is a 20th-century extension that adds one bay, made of coursed limestone rubble with a pantile roof and a coped gable. This extension also has paired casements, with the upper window set in a gabled semi-dormer. To the right, there is a single-storey outbuilding made of coursed ironstone rubble, which is lime-washed and has a pantile roof, featuring a blocked door on the left.
