This early 19th century building comprises two properties, numbers 25 and 26 St Mary’s Gate. Constructed of red brick, it stands three storeys high. The front features four sash windows, each with a channelled lintel, and a sill band running along the first storey. There are two round-headed doorways, both with fanlights; the fanlight over the doorway to number 26 is plain. A moulded stone cornice sits above the windows, topped by a small parapet. This building forms a group with other buildings along St Mary's Gate, including numbers 18 to 22 and numbers 35 to 38 and 40 to 42.
