Description
Originally a malthouse, this building was converted into a theatre in 1773 and is now used as offices. It features a painted stucco exterior with a plain facade that has two storeys. The facade includes three semi-circular headed windows set in plain architraves, two horizontal bands, and quoins at the sides of the first storey. There is a moulded stone eaves cornice and a stone-coped parapet. On the right-hand side, there is a single-storeyed bay with a parapet and a semi-circular headed doorway that has a restored radial fanlight. The rest of the building has modern office fronts, and the interior has been completely altered.
