Description
The forecourt wall, gate piers, gates, and railings of County Hall were likely built around 1811. The structure features a stone wall topped with wrought iron railings. There are two pairs of stone gate piers that have cornice caps, along with two pairs of wrought iron gates. This ensemble, along with Nos 10, 11, and 11A, the former Rural District Council Offices, and No 18, contributes to the overall character of the area surrounding County Hall and the Police Station.
