Description
No 11 St Mary's Gate is an early 19th century building that has been altered over time. It features engraved stucco and stands three storeys tall. The façade includes two modern casement windows with cambered heads. The entrance is highlighted by a restored wooden pilaster doorcase, which has a pedimental hood supported by brackets, a traceried fanlight, and a five-panelled door. The building is topped with a parapet. It is included in the listing for its group value with Nos 10, 11A, the former Rural District Council Offices, No 18, Country Hall, and the forecourt wall, gate piers, gates, and railings of County Hall and Police Station.
