Description

This is a mid-18th century building on the north side of Friar Gate, comprising numbers 30 and 31. It is constructed of painted brick and stands three storeys high. The building has three modern sash windows without glazing bars, a moulded stone eaves cornice, a parapet, and modern tiles. The ground storey has been modernized. The building is listed for its contribution to the group value of buildings in the area, alongside numbers 27 to 32 Friar Gate, the Friar Gate Railway Bridge, numbers 35 to 39 Friar Gate, numbers 41 to 51 Friar Gate, and number 47 Ford Street.
