Description

This is an 18th-century building on the north side of High Street, with a red brick facade applied to an underlying timber-frame structure. The western side of the building is slate-hung. It is three stories high and has three windows wide. The upper two floors each have three windows of three lights, with original glazing bars in the windows of number 114 and later 19th-century glazing in those of number 115. The ground floor contains 19th-century shop fronts, incorporating a carriageway arch. The shop fronts share ceiling beams overhead. The building forms a group with numbers 112 to 115, numbers 116 and 117, and Easter Cottage, all considered buildings of local interest.
