Description

Nos 121 and 122 on High Street are early 19th century buildings featuring a stuccoed facade, likely added to an earlier structure. They have a cornice and parapet, topped with a tiled mansard roof. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and three dormers. There are five windows, which are sashes with late 19th century glazing. The first-floor windows have moulded architraves, and all except the western window have bracketed cornices above. The shop fronts are modern. At the west end, there is a carriageway arch.

At the rear, Nos 121A and 122A are part of the same building and are constructed of painted brick. They are also two storeys high and have two windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and a small fixed window.

These buildings, along with Nos 120 to 138, the Iron Gates and Overthrow between Nos 132 and 133, and the Roman Catholic Church and Primary School, form a group of local interest.
