Description
Nos 123 and 124 on High Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of red brick, featuring a bracketed eaves cornice and a hipped, tiled roof. The structures rise three storeys and have two windows with painted reveals, fitted with sashes that include glazing bars. No 123 is notable for its three-light bay on the first and second floors. The shop fronts are modern. These buildings, along with Nos 120 to 138, the iron gates and overthrow between Nos 132 and 133, and the nearby Roman Catholic Church and Primary School, form a group of local interest.
