Description
Nos 33 and 35 are late 18th-century buildings located on the east side of Kirkgate. They feature scored stucco on the exterior, a slate roof, and quoins. The buildings are two storeys tall and have two doors with projecting quoins. On the ground floor, there are three sash windows, and above, there are five sash windows, all set within moulded stone architraves. In front of Nos 33 and 35 is a long and narrow cobbled forecourt that extends without divisions or railings, remaining open to the pavement.
These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 13, 17 to 25 (odd), 31 to 55 (odd), No 38, Nos 46 to 86 (even), along with Nos 47A and Kirkgate House.
