Description

23 Friar Gate is a late 19th-century building made of red brick with stone dressings. It has three storeys and features two 2-light windows on the first floor, which are set in stone surrounds with mullions and transoms, and have iron guards. The building also has a stone eaves cornice and a gable. A modern shop front has been added. This property is included for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos 16 to 23 Friar Gate.
